Travis Kelce recounts Taylor Swift proposal on podcast episode

Travis Kelce reflected on his proposal to Taylor Swift in the latest episode of his "New Heights" podcast, which aired on July 8. The episode, recorded before the couple's July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden, detailed how Kelce planned to ask Swift to marry him while she was a guest on the show.

Kelce said the idea formed during the recording, noting, "> Starting it with Taylor, pretty epic. During that recording, the entire time I'm planning, like, I'm going to ask this woman to marry me after."

He added that the moment will be a lasting memory. The engagement, announced in August with an Instagram post that received nearly 38 million likes, featured Kelce kneeling amid a floral backdrop.

The couple, both 36, married in a star-studded ceremony that included numerous celebrities, though no official photos or videos have been released. Swift’s brother Austin served as her man of honor, while Kelce’s brother Jason was the best man, and the ceremony was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.

In a prior interview, Kelce emphasized that, away from cameras, the relationship feels ordinary, describing it as "organic" despite intense media attention.
