The pop star and NFL player married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden, with guests reporting details of the ceremony, décor, and reception.

Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce were married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York, a venue transformed for the event with peach and white drapery and garden-style décor. The ceremony, attended by about 1,000 guests, featured the couple’s own vows and a “Man of Honor” and “Best Man” drawn from each family’s brother.

The wedding’s look was overseen by Jonathan Anderson of Christian Dior Haute Couture, and Swift accessorized with Cartier jewelry. Guests noted performances by Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks, as well as games that offered raffle tickets for prizes such as designer handbags and a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid described the celebration as “spectacular” and credited Swift with the planning. He also recounted advice from actor Adam Sandler, who told the couple to “kiss her every chance you have.”

Several attendees shared personal touches, including a bouquet of sweet pea, Queen Anne’s lace and pink flowers, and a handkerchief embroidered with the lyric “So it’s gonna be forever…,” referencing Swift’s 2014 song “Blank Space.”

A photo of the wedding invitation, posted briefly online, listed the date as July 3, 2026, prompting comments about a possible breach of the couple’s nondisclosure agreement. Swift’s aunt and Kelce’s mother both expressed emotional reactions to the event, describing it as magical and intimate.
