South Florida influencer killed in drive-by shooting targeting luxury SUV
Police say 21-year-old Instagram influencer Brianna Johnson died after a white sedan opened fire on her lime-green Lamborghini Urus in Miramar early Sunday.
Miramar police investigators said a 21-year-old social-media personality was fatally shot in a drive-by attack while riding in a lime-green Lamborghini Urus with two other passengers. The incident occurred at about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, hours after the Fourth of July holiday, when a white sedan pulled alongside the vehicle and fired multiple rounds, striking all three occupants. Surveillance footage obtained by a local news outlet showed the sedan following the Lamborghini before gunfire erupted, after which the SUV drifted through an intersection and crashed into a house. Police were alerted by several ShotSpotter detections in the area.
"The gunfire was rapid-fire," Miramar Police Chief Delrish Moss said. The victim, who posted under the handle dreamdoll_brii and had nearly 500,000 followers across TikTok and Instagram, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other passengers were taken to a hospital in critical condition, and their identities have not been released. Authorities said the group had attended a large party earlier and stopped at a gas station where a dispute reportedly occurred before the vehicle was targeted. The homicide investigation remains active.
