SpaceX executive Gwynne Shotwell pledges stock donation to Trump Accounts program

SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell said she will donate SpaceX stock held by herself and her husband to the Trump Accounts program, which provides investment accounts for American minors. The contribution is intended for about two million accounts, with a slightly greater focus on children living near central Texas, she wrote in a post on X.

"We have been fortunate in our careers and hope this gift encourages the next generation to continue the journey of enabling humanity to live and fly amongst the stars," Shotwell said. The move adds Shotwell to a growing list of companies and wealthy individuals supporting the initiative.
