AMC CEO Adam Aron shares and then removes insider account of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding
AMC Theatres chief Adam Aron posted a detailed description of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden, then deleted the message, prompting speculation about the reasons for its removal.
AMC Theatres chief Adam Aron posted a lengthy account of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden on July 3, which was later removed from his X account. Screenshots of the post circulated before its deletion.
Aron said the venue had been transformed with peach and white drapery and displayed large photographs of the couple at various ages. He described a section of the arena that was converted into an outdoor-style garden with green and white décor, real flowers, artificial trees, and about 75 chairs arranged in fifteen rows for an estimated 1,000 guests.
"A few violins and cello ushered in the wedding party, with Travis in a white tuxedo and Taylor in a white wedding dress with a long veiled train," Aron wrote, noting that the dress was designed by Dior Haute Couture.
He mentioned that an officiant led the ceremony, delivering vows that he characterized as "long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing." Aron also noted that music featured prominently, and later reports confirmed that Stevie Nicks performed at the event.
No other insider accounts have emerged, and guests were reportedly required to sign non-disclosure agreements. The reason for Aron’s deletion of the post has not been confirmed.
