Lionel Richie confirms recovery and upcoming Toronto show after hospitalisation
The singer said he is recovering well after being hospitalised for dizziness during a June 24 concert and confirmed he will perform in Toronto later this week.
Lionel Richie posted on Instagram on Tuesday, sharing photos from recent concerts in Pittsburgh and Detroit and stating that he is "doing well" and grateful for fans' support. He also indicated that he will travel to Toronto for his next performance.
Richie had to end his June 24 show at the Grand Casino Arena in St. Paul, Minnesota, after experiencing dizziness and a feeling of being "strange," which led to his being taken to a hospital for treatment. Doctors advised him to rest, resulting in the postponement of his scheduled shows in Chicago and Columbus, Ohio.
The artist resumed performing on Tuesday night in Pittsburgh and appears to be continuing his tour without further delays.
