AMC CEO Describes Details of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Wedding

AMC Theatres chief Adam Aron posted on X on Friday describing the interior of the wedding ceremony for singer Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, which was held at Madison Square Garden. He said the venue was transformed with peach and white drapery and displayed large pictures of the couple at various ages. A portion of the arena was isolated and decorated to resemble an outdoor garden with green and white fabrics, real flowers and about 75 chairs arranged in fifteen rows.

Aron wrote that romantic music, including violins and cello, accompanied the ceremony and that the officiant, actor Adam Sandler, was "warm and welcoming, funny and eloquent." He characterized the vows as "long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing," and said the event felt intimate despite an estimated attendance of around 1,000 guests.

"Congrats to ‘Trav and Tay-tay,’" Aron concluded.

Aron noted his previous connection to Swift through the 2023 theatrical release of her "Eras Tour" concert, which earned $261 million for AMC, and highlighted AMC’s Kansas City headquarters as a link to Kelce’s team.
