Taylor Swift and Travis Kelke Wed at Transformed Madison Square Garden
Pop star Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce married on July 3, 2026 in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden that featured a garden-themed décor, a guest list of roughly 1,000 celebrities and Adam Sandler as officiant.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelke were married on Friday, July 3, 2026, in a ceremony held at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The venue was draped in peach and white fabric and converted into a garden-like setting with real and artificial flowers, according to a post by AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron. Approximately 1,000 guests attended, many of whom were high-profile entertainers and athletes, including Ed Sheeran, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Brad Pitt, and Jennifer Lopez.
Guests received watermarked digital invitations that required nondisclosure agreements, and most were told only to be in the city on the morning of the wedding. The ceremony was officiated by actor Adam Sandler, who also performed an original song for the couple. Swift and Kelke’s attire was created by Christian Dior Haute Couture under the direction of creative director Jonathan Anderson.
The bride’s brother, Austin Swift, acted as her man of honor, while Kelke’s brother, Jason Kelce, served as best man. A handkerchief embroidered with the couple’s initials and a lyric from Swift’s 2014 song “Blank Space” was distributed to attendees. Stevie Nicks performed a private concert, which Good Morning America host Robin Roberts described as intimate. The moment the couple exchanged vows was displayed on digital billboards outside the arena with the message “JUST&T MARRIED!”.
“I’m so excited about it. I know it’s going to be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount, and people are on the bubble,” Swift said on The Graham Norton Show in October 2025.
“It was as intimate as it possibly could be given it was Madison Square Garden. It was really this garden inside the Garden, which was so beautiful,” co-host George Stephanopoulos said on Good Morning America.
The event was organized by wedding planner Mark Seed and featured a blend of celebrity performances, high-fashion designs, and a transformed arena that aimed to balance scale with a personal atmosphere.
