Content creator Emilie Kiser reveals pregnancy a year after son’s drowning

In the post she described the pregnancy as "surreal" and said it has provided a source of comfort during a difficult period. Kiser also noted she may limit the amount of detail she shares, emphasizing that her family’s privacy remains a priority.
The announcement comes more than a year after her three-year-old son, Trigg, was found unresponsive in the family’s backyard pool in Arizona on May 12, 2025. He was taken to Phoenix Children’s Hospital and died six days later. At the time of the incident, Kiser’s husband, Brady Kiser, was supervising Trigg and their newborn son, Theodore. Police initially recommended a felony child-abuse charge against Brady, but prosecutors later declined to pursue it.
Following Trigg’s death, Kiser reduced her social-media activity but has provided periodic updates to followers. She discussed the loss and its impact on a podcast with Jay Shetty in June, reflecting on how quickly life can change.
