NYPD memo outlines schedule for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding at Madison Square Garden
A New York Police Department memorandum details the planned rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelke's wedding at Madison Square Garden, including guest numbers, performance lineup and security presence.
A New York Police Department memorandum titled “Taylor Swift wedding at Madison Square Garden” provides a timeline for the singer’s upcoming nuptials with NFL player Travis Kelce. The schedule indicates a rehearsal dinner at 6 p.m. ET on July 2 with roughly 100 guests, followed by a larger celebration on Friday evening for about 1,000 attendees. The venue will open at 4 p.m. ET for a cocktail hour on the sixth floor, and the ceremony is slated for 5:30 p.m. ET in the main arena, with a reception to follow.
"The reception will reportedly include performances by Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw and is expected to conclude around 2 a.m. ET," the memo notes.
The set design is described as featuring grass, carpets, canopies and a stage arranged to resemble a wedding setting, rather than a literal castle. A list of invited guests mentioned in media reports includes musicians, actors and athletes such as Abigail Anderson, the Haim sisters, Zoe Kravitz, Ed Sheeran, Jack Antonoff, Margaret Qualley, Mariska Hargitay, Cara Delevingne, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Selena Gomez, Benny Blanco, Patrick Mahomes, George Kittle and Andy Reid. Reports also indicate that Blake Lively was not invited.
Forbes estimates the wedding cost at a minimum of $20 million. The Times adds that hundreds of police officers will be deployed around the Garden to manage crowds expected to gather for the event.
