Cornerback Terrion Arnold released on $1 million bond pending trial
Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold was released from Hillsborough County jail after posting a $1 million bond, with the judge allowing home confinement but no ankle monitor.
Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold was released from Hillsborough County jail on Tuesday after posting a $1 million bond, according to a Fox Sports report. Hillsborough County Judge Christopher Sabella granted Arnold’s request to remain out of custody while awaiting trial on multiple felony charges, including four counts each of armed robbery and kidnapping, which could carry life sentences if convicted. Arnold will be confined to his home but will not be required to wear an ankle monitor.
The state attorney’s office has filed a motion to impose a GPS monitoring requirement now that Arnold is no longer employed, with a hearing set for 9:30 a.m. on Monday. Arnold’s lawyer, Timothy Jansen, asked that the hearing be conducted via video because Arnold will be out of state.
Arnold, 23, was arrested last week and turned himself in on Wednesday night.
