Amanda Batula to Leave 'Summer House' After Boyfriend West Wilson Not Renewed for Season 11

Summary

Longtime cast member Amanda Batula will not return for the upcoming season of Bravo's 'Summer House' following the network's decision not to retain her boyfriend West Wilson.

Amanda Batner will exit Bravo's reality series "Summer House" after her boyfriend West Wilson was not retained for the show's eleventh season, according to sources cited by TMZ. The network plans to begin filming the new season the weekend of July 4, and Batner is not expected to appear.

"I don’t think it would have been a fun summer," Wilson said on the "Broadcast Boys" podcast, indicating his agreement with Bravo's decision.

Wilson, who joined the cast in season eight, was confirmed by TMZ earlier this month as not being selected for the next season, though insiders suggested a possible cameo appearance. The couple's relationship, which became public after Batner's separation from her estranged husband Kyle Cooke, attracted significant attention from co-stars and viewers.

Batner has been part of "Summer House" since its debut, becoming a main cast member in season two. Her marriage to Cooke, which began as a casual fling and culminated in a wedding during the season six finale, ended in separation announced in January of the previous year. Two months later, Batner confirmed a new relationship with Wilson.

The pair kept their romance private from other cast members, including former friend Ciara Miller, who had previously dated Wilson. Their relationship was discussed during the three-part season ten reunion, and the couple later traveled to Italy together.

Bravo and Batner’s representatives have not responded to requests for comment.
