Country Singer Bailey Zimmerman Charges Dropped After Restitution
Prosecutors in Bernalillo County dismissed felony and misdemeanor charges against Bailey Zimmerman after he paid full restitution for damage to a New Mexico hotel room.
Bernalillo County prosecutors dismissed both a felony charge of criminal damage to property exceeding $1,000 and a misdemeanor charge of falsely obtaining services against country singer Bailey Zimmerman. The district attorney's office said the case was resolved after Zimmerman paid full restitution for approximately $16,000 in damage to a room at the Sandia Resort & Casino and settled an unpaid $400 alcohol bill. Zimmerman, who faced the charges following an incident in May that led to a concert cancellation, issued an apology stating he accepts full accountability for his actions. His attorney confirmed that Zimmerman took responsibility for the incident, prompting the swift resolution of the case.
