Security footage shows cabin destroyed by Utah's Cottonwood Fire

A security camera video posted on social media shows a cabin in Eagle Point, Utah, being consumed by flames within minutes as the Cottonwood Fire spread across the region. The footage, recorded on Tuesday, shows a wall of fire approaching from about 100 yards away before the structure is fully engulfed and the camera is destroyed.

The video was shared by Dr. Marc Leduc, who lives in Nevada, and he expressed concern for the community, writing, > "Prayers for the firefighters and all the owners up there."

The Cottonwood Fire, which began on Monday, has expanded to nearly 60,000 acres as of Wednesday. Local officials have not yet released comprehensive damage assessments while firefighting efforts continue.

Residents of Beaver County reported extensive loss of property, with many homes and structures suspected to have been destroyed.
