Taylor Swift Holds Bachelorette Celebration at Rhode Island Estate Ahead of Planned Wedding

Summary

Taylor Swift hosted a private gathering at her Watch Hill home in Rhode Island as she prepares to marry Travis Kelce, with officials indicating the wedding may take place in New York City in early July.

Taylor Swift spent the weekend at her Watch Hill residence in Westerly, Rhode Island, hosting a small group of close friends for a bachelorette celebration, according to reports. The gathering concluded on Friday, with guests departing early Saturday.

Neighbors said fireworks were set off over the waterfront property during the event. The home, known locally as "Holiday House," spans about 11,000 square feet and includes seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. A 2025 planning application indicated that renovations will add roughly 400 square feet, creating an additional bedroom and enlarging an existing suite.

While Swift was in Rhode Island, Travis Kelce was reported to be in Los Angeles with friends. City officials have suggested that the couple's wedding could be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3, coinciding with other major events such as the FIFA World Cup and the NBA Finals.

"We are used to big events, and we are incredibly excited for the FIFA World Cup," New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said during a press conference, adding that the city is prepared for the overlapping schedules.

Earlier reports had linked the wedding to a June 13 date and to a venue near Swift's Rhode Island property, but recent information points to a New York location. Swift has owned property in the city for more than a decade, and the planned date aligns with other high-profile events scheduled for early July.
