FNAC listings suggest GTA 6 base price of €90, premium edition €119.99 ahead of pre-order launch
Leaked listings from retailer FNAC show Grand Theft Auto VI will be priced at €90 for the standard edition and €119.99 for a premium version, with pre-orders set to begin on June 25.
Retailer FNAC has posted product listings for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto VI that indicate a standard edition price of €89.99 and a premium edition price of €119.99. The listings, shared by a user on the gaming forum ResetEra, also include a collector’s edition priced at €199.99 and confirm the game’s launch date as November 19, 2026. Pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles are scheduled to open on Thursday, June 25.
Analysts have previously speculated about a high launch price for the title. Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter had suggested Rockstar Games could price the game at $100, a figure that would be roughly comparable to the €90 price now seen in the FNAC listings.
"A retail price of €90 would be the same price Nintendo demanded of Mario Kart World last year, shocking the industry," the article noted, referencing earlier pricing discussions.
If the FNAC data proves accurate, the pricing would align with earlier forecasts and set a benchmark for digital versus physical sales, though the final pricing structure remains to be confirmed by Rockstar Games.
