Country music star Keith Urban posted a four-word birthday greeting to actress Nicole Kidman on June 20, marking his first public message to her since their divorce was finalized in January 2026. The caption, "Happy birthday Nicole Mary," appeared against a colorful backdrop and suggested the former couple remain on good terms.
Kidman had previously spoken briefly about the separation, telling The Age Australia in March that she was "good" and "holding steady." She added that she was focusing on her family and moving toward what is positive for her children.
The divorce settlement, filed in January, includes a clause prohibiting either party from speaking negatively about the other and requires joint decisions regarding their daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15. Both parents reside in Nashville and travel frequently for work.
"I am, because I'm always going to be moving toward what's good," Kidman said in a March interview with Variety.
Their daughters have begun public careers, with Sunday modeling and Faith appearing on red carpets alongside her mother. Kidman also has two adult children, Isabelle, 34, and Connor, 32, from her previous marriage to Tom Cruise.
