Resumen

Co-founder of Ubisoft, Claude Guillemot, and a flight instructor were killed when their Cessna 421 crashed near La Baule airport in western France.

A Cessna 421 twin-engine aircraft carrying Ubisoft co-founder Claude Guillemot and a flight instructor crashed on Friday evening near La Baule-Escoublac Airport on France's Atlantic coast, killing both occupants. The crash occurred in a field just before the plane was due to land.

"Both were licensed and experienced pilots," Mayor Franck Louvrier said in a statement.

Ubisoft confirmed Guillemot's death but declined to provide further comment. The company was founded in 1986 by Guillemot and his four brothers and is known for franchises such as Assassin’s Creed, Just Dance, Rayman and Tom Clancy titles.
