Microsoft’s Xbox division head Asha Sharma described a "hardware component crisis," noting that the cost of storage components for consoles had more than doubled since the previous year and could rise fivefold over a two-year span. Dell and automaker Ford have also announced price adjustments linked to AI-related component cost pressures.
