Samsung Reportedly Planning Galaxy S27 Pro with Ultra Features Minus S Pen
Samsung is rumored to introduce a fourth model, the Galaxy S27 Pro, featuring Ultra-level specifications without the S Pen.
Samsung is reportedly planning to expand its Galaxy S27 lineup to include a fourth model, the Galaxy S27 Pro, which is expected to feature high-end specifications similar to the Ultra variant but without the S Pen stylus. According to a report from ETNews, the Galaxy S27 Pro will be equipped with a 6.47-inch OLED display, positioning it between the base Galaxy S27 and the larger Plus and Ultra models.
The Pro model is anticipated to share many features with the Ultra variant, including the next-generation Snapdragon processor and Samsung's Privacy Display technology. However, it will lack the S Pen, catering to users who prefer a premium device without the stylus functionality.
This move marks a departure from Samsung's traditional three-model flagship lineup, which typically includes the base, Plus, and Ultra variants. The introduction of the Pro model suggests Samsung's strategy to offer a device that combines high-end features in a more compact form factor, potentially appealing to a broader range of consumers.
The Galaxy S27 series is expected to be unveiled early next year, with the Pro model aiming to provide Ultra-level features in a smaller package without the inclusion of the S Pen.
