Lebanon's Death Toll Surpasses 3,000 Amid Ongoing Israeli Strikes

Lebanon's health ministry announced on Monday that the death toll from Israeli strikes since March 2 has reached 3,020, including 292 women and 211 children. The conflict began when Hezbollah launched attacks on Israel, following Israeli and U.S. strikes on Iran. Despite a ceasefire initiated on April 17 and extended into June, hostilities persist, with Israeli forces conducting operations in southern Lebanon and Beirut, aiming to prevent Hezbollah's rearmament. Over one million Lebanese have been displaced due to the ongoing violence.
