Apple Reports Record Q2 2026 Revenue of $111.2 Billion
Apple announced a record-breaking second quarter for fiscal 2026, with revenue reaching $111.2 billion, driven by strong iPhone 17 sales and growth in services.
Apple has reported its financial results for the second quarter of fiscal 2026, achieving a record revenue of $111.2 billion, a 17% increase from the same period last year. Earnings per share rose to $2.01, marking a 22% year-over-year growth.
The surge in revenue was primarily driven by the iPhone 17 lineup, which set a new March quarter revenue record. CEO Tim Cook highlighted the "extraordinary demand" for these devices.
Apple's services segment also reached an all-time high, contributing $30.97 billion to the quarterly revenue. The company introduced new products during the quarter, including the iPhone 17e, the M4-powered iPad Air, and the MacBook Neo, which have been well-received globally.
CFO Kevan Parekh noted that the strong performance generated over $28 billion in operating cash flow, leading to new records for both operating cash flow and earnings per share.
In response to these results, Apple's board of directors approved a 4% increase in the quarterly dividend to $0.27 per share, payable on May 14, 2026, to shareholders of record as of May 11. Additionally, the board authorized a new share repurchase program of up to $100 billion.
The company also reported growth across all geographic segments, with notable increases in Greater China, where revenue reached $20.49 billion, surpassing analyst expectations.
Despite supply constraints affecting Mac and iPhone sales, all major product categories experienced year-over-year growth. The earnings report follows the announcement that John Ternus will succeed Tim Cook as CEO starting in September.
