Trump Cancels Envoys' Pakistan Trip Amid Stalled Iran Talks

President Donald Trump has canceled the planned trip of envoys Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff to Pakistan for Iran peace talks, citing inefficiency and lack of progress.

The decision follows the departure of Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi from Islamabad without meeting U.S. officials. Araghchi had engaged with Pakistani leaders, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, to discuss Iran's conditions for negotiations.

Trump expressed frustration over the lack of direct communication from Iran, stating, "If they want to talk, all they have to do is call!!!" He emphasized that too much time was being wasted on travel and work.

The cancellation raises concerns about the durability of the current ceasefire and the future of diplomatic efforts between the U.S. and Iran.
