Apple's iPhone 18 Pro to Feature Smaller Dynamic Island and New Dark Cherry Color
The upcoming iPhone 18 Pro is expected to introduce a reduced Dynamic Island and a new Dark Cherry color option, among other enhancements.
Apple's forthcoming iPhone 18 Pro, slated for a September release, is anticipated to bring several notable updates.
The device is expected to feature a smaller Dynamic Island, achieved by relocating the Face ID's flood illuminator beneath the screen.
A new Dark Cherry color option is reportedly in development, alongside Light Blue, Dark Gray, and Silver. Existing colors like Cosmic Orange and Deep Blue may be discontinued.
The iPhone 18 Pro is also rumored to include LTPO+ display technology for improved battery life, a variable aperture 48-megapixel Fusion camera for enhanced depth of field control, and the A20 Pro chip utilizing TSMC's 2nm process for better performance and efficiency.
Additional features may encompass Apple's custom C2 modem for faster 5G and LTE connectivity, potential support for 5G via satellite, and a redesigned rear Ceramic Shield with a more seamless appearance.
Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a foldable iPhone in September, followed by other models early next year.
