In Lena, Illinois, a school sustained roof damage and broken windows during a band competition. Stephenson County Sheriff Steve Stovall stated,
"We are extremely fortunate that this storm did not result in loss of life or serious injury."
In central Wisconsin, a reported tornado tore through the cities of Kronenwetter and Ringle, leaving behind damaged homes and some residents briefly trapped in their basements. Ringle Fire Chief Chris Kielman reported the incidents.
In Olmsted County, Minnesota, at least 30 homes were damaged in Marion Township. Officials emphasized the fortunate absence of serious injuries or deaths and are now focusing on cleanup and recovery.
The National Weather Service plans surveys to confirm tornado activity.
