A recent Ipsos and Reuters survey reveals that 51% of Americans believe the military action in Iran has not been worthwhile, with only 24% considering it beneficial.

A recent Ipsos and Reuters survey indicates that 51% of Americans believe the military action in Iran has not been worthwhile, while only 24% consider it beneficial. Among Republicans, 55% support the intervention, yet 20% oppose it, and 24% remain uncertain. This poll, conducted after a cease-fire and President Trump's statement that "a whole civilization will die tonight," highlights emerging divisions within the Republican Party regarding the conflict. A CNN poll from late March found that Republicans not identifying as "MAGA" were significantly less likely to support the war compared to "MAGA Republicans." Additionally, younger Republicans are less likely to approve of the military action than those over 45. Consistent with previous surveys, only 35% of Americans approve of the military strikes in Iran, a figure that has remained stable over the past month.
