Manhattan DA Investigates Sexual Assault Allegations Against Rep. Eric Swalwell

In response to the allegations, prominent Democratic figures and organizations have withdrawn their support for Swalwell's gubernatorial campaign. Sen. Adam Schiff and Rep. Jimmy Gomez have rescinded their endorsements, and major labor unions, including the California Federation of Labor Unions and the California chapter of the Service Employees International Union, have also pulled their backing.

House Democratic leaders, including Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and former Speaker Nancy Pelosi, have called for a thorough investigation into the allegations.
