Leading the U.S. delegation is Vice President JD Vance, accompanied by President Trump's special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and senior adviser Jared Kushner. The Iranian delegation is headed by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
The discussions aim to transform the provisional two-week ceasefire into a lasting peace agreement.
