Rapper Offset Hospitalized After Shooting Outside Florida Casino
Offset, former member of Migos, is in stable condition following a shooting outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
Rapper Offset, formerly of the hip-hop trio Migos, was shot Monday evening outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. A representative confirmed that he is "stable and being closely monitored" at a local hospital.
The Seminole Police Department reported that the incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the casino's valet area. Two individuals have been detained, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities stated, "The site is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal."
Offset, born Kiari Kendrell Cephus, gained prominence with Migos, known for hits like "Versace" and "Bad and Boujee." The group disbanded following the 2022 death of member Takeoff, who was fatally shot in Houston. Offset was previously married to rapper Cardi B; the couple, who share three children, filed for divorce in 2024.
