Rapper Offset Hospitalized After Shooting Outside Florida Casino

Rapper Offset, formerly of the hip-hop trio Migos, was shot Monday evening outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. A spokesperson confirmed that Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, is "stable and being closely monitored" at a local hospital.

The Seminole Police Department reported that the incident occurred around 7 p.m. in the casino's valet area, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries to one individual. Two people have been detained in connection with the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities have assured the public that the site is secure and there is no ongoing threat.

Offset, 34, gained prominence as a member of Migos, known for hits like "Versace" and "Bad and Boujee." The group disbanded following the 2022 shooting death of fellow member Takeoff. Offset was previously married to rapper Cardi B, with whom he shares three children; the couple filed for divorce in 2024.
