Look Outside's April Fools' 'Smooch Mode' Becomes Permanent Feature
The 'Smooch Mode' introduced in Look Outside on April Fools' Day is now a permanent feature, allowing players to kiss various characters by naming their save file 'Casanova'.
On April 1, the developer of Look Outside introduced a feature allowing players to kiss non-playable characters (NPCs), including enemies and neighbors, within the game's cursed apartment building. This update modified character dialogues and sprites to reflect the new interaction.
Following positive feedback, developer Francis Coulombe announced that the 'Smooch Mode' will remain accessible. Players can activate this mode by naming their save file 'Casanova'. Coulombe stated,
"If you started a game on April 1st and kissed the wounded neighbor, that save file is now permanently in smooch mode!"
While not all characters are kissable, many, including the Rat King and Pierre, are available for this interaction. The developer also hinted at an upcoming substantial update for Look Outside.
