Donegal secured their first National Football League Division 1 title since 2007 with a commanding 3-20 to 2-10 victory over Kerry at Croke Park. The match saw Donegal establish an eight-point lead by halftime, 0-13 to 1-2. Early in the second half, they effectively sealed the game with three goals in quick succession from Conor O’Donnell, Michael Murphy, and Caolan McGonagle between the 42nd and 45th minutes, extending their lead to 3-13 to 1-4. Despite a late surge from Kerry, Donegal maintained control to claim the Micheál Ó Muircheartaigh trophy.
