Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's Wedding in Venice Attended by Numerous Celebrities

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former journalist Lauren Sánchez are scheduled to marry in Italy this weekend. On Thursday, several celebrities arrived in Venice for pre-wedding events. The ceremony is planned for Saturday at an undisclosed location. Approximately 200 guests are expected to attend, including Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, Kim Kardashian, and Tom Brady. The arrival of these high-profile individuals has led to protests from some Venice residents, resulting in the "No Space for Bezos" campaign. This movement reflects broader concerns in Europe about the impact of tourism on local communities. This will be the second marriage for both Bezos, 61, and Sánchez, 55. Bezos was previously married to philanthropist Mackenzie Scott, with their divorce finalized in 2019. Sánchez was formerly married to Patrick Whitesell, executive chair of talent firm Endeavor; they also divorced in 2019.
