NASA Successfully Completes Artemis II Launch Rehearsal

NASA has successfully completed a wet dress rehearsal for the Artemis II mission, a critical step toward the first crewed lunar mission in over five decades. The rehearsal involved fueling the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket with more than 700,000 gallons of liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen, followed by a simulated countdown at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This test aimed to validate the integrity of newly installed seals after a previous attempt was halted due to hydrogen leaks. The successful completion of this rehearsal brings NASA closer to setting a firm launch date for Artemis II, which will carry four astronauts on a 10-day journey around the Moon. The mission is currently targeting a launch as early as March 6, pending final reviews and preparations.
