SpaceX's Crew-12 Mission Set for February 13 Launch to ISS
NASA and SpaceX plan to launch the Crew-12 mission to the International Space Station on February 13, 2026, carrying four astronauts for an eight-month stay.
NASA and SpaceX are preparing to launch the Crew-12 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 5:15 a.m. EST from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The mission will transport four astronauts aboard the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft atop a Falcon 9 rocket.
The Crew-12 team comprises NASA astronauts Jessica Meir (commander) and Jack Hathaway (pilot), European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adenot (mission specialist), and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev (mission specialist). Adenot and Hathaway are embarking on their first spaceflight, while Meir and Fedyaev have each completed one previous mission.
The astronauts are scheduled to dock with the ISS on Saturday, February 14, at approximately 3:15 p.m. EST. Their eight-month mission will involve conducting various scientific experiments and technology demonstrations.
This launch follows a delay from the original February 11 date due to unfavorable weather conditions along the flight path.
The Crew-12 mission will restore the ISS crew to its standard complement of seven members, following a period with a reduced crew of three since mid-January.
Live coverage of the launch will begin at 3:15 a.m. EST on NASA's streaming platforms, including NASA+, Amazon Prime, and YouTube.
