Ayaneo's Next 2 Handheld Gaming PC Priced Up to $4,299 Amid Memory Shortage
Ayaneo's upcoming Next 2 handheld gaming PC, featuring high-end specifications, is priced between $1,799 and $4,299, with the company attributing the steep costs to the ongoing global memory shortage.
Ayaneo has unveiled its latest handheld gaming PC, the Next 2, with prices ranging from $1,799 to $4,299. The base model, equipped with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, is priced at $1,799 for early backers, while the top-tier variant, featuring 128GB of RAM and 2TB of storage, reaches $4,299 at retail.
The device boasts a 9.06-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400×1504 and a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. It is powered by AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor and includes a 116Wh battery, which may require airline approval due to its capacity exceeding 100Wh.
Ayaneo CEO Arthur Zhang attributed the high pricing to the ongoing global memory shortage, stating that the company is not making a profit at these prices.
The Next 2 is available for pre-order on Indiegogo, with shipments expected to begin in June 2026.
