FreshRealm has voluntarily recalled certain ready-to-eat chicken fettuccine Alfredo meals sold at Walmart and Kroger stores nationwide. This action follows a listeria outbreak associated with 17 illnesses and three fatalities. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that the outbreak resulted in three deaths, a pregnancy loss, and 16 hospitalizations. The affected products include:

  • 32.8 oz. packages of "MARKETSIDE GRILLED CHICKEN ALFREDO WITH FETTUCCINE" with best-by dates of 06/27/25 or earlier.
  • 12.3 oz. packages of "MARKETSIDE GRILLED CHICKEN ALFREDO WITH FETTUCCINE" with best-by dates of 06/26/25 or earlier.
  • 12.5 oz. packages of "HOME CHEF Heat & Eat Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo" with best-by dates of 06/19/25 or earlier.

These products can be identified by establishment numbers “EST. P-50784,” “EST. P-47770,” or “EST. P-47718” on the packaging. Consumers are advised not to consume these products and should dispose of them or return them to the place of purchase. The CDC also recommends cleaning any refrigerators, containers, or surfaces that may have come into contact with the recalled products, as listeria can spread easily.
