Newly Released Epstein Files Suggest Possible Trafficking of Victims to Associates
Recent document disclosures indicate Jeffrey Epstein may have trafficked victims to other individuals, challenging previous official statements.
Recent disclosures of over 3 million files related to Jeffrey Epstein suggest that he may have trafficked victims to other individuals, challenging previous official statements that there was insufficient evidence to investigate third parties.
Among the documents is a 2021 prosecution memorandum describing an accuser's allegation that Epstein directed her to provide a massage to a friend staying at his residence. During the encounter, the associate allegedly offered her money for sex, which she accepted. The accuser later identified the individual as former film producer Harvey Weinstein.
Another document, an FBI presentation from after July 2025, details an allegation that Epstein instructed an accuser to give Weinstein a massage, during which he allegedly asked her to remove her shirt and threatened to involve others when she refused. Weinstein, currently incarcerated for sexual assault convictions, denies these claims. His representative stated, "Harvey denies this. The document cited is an internal prosecution memorandum in the Maxwell case that records allegations, not findings."
The files also reference financier Leon Black, listing him under "PROMINENT NAMES" in the FBI presentation. An accuser alleged that Epstein directed her to give Black a massage while he was naked, and another female was reportedly made to perform oral sex on him. Black's attorney, Susan Estrich, stated, "There is absolutely no truth to any of the allegations against Mr. Black."
These revelations have prompted attorneys representing Epstein's victims to question the Department of Justice's handling of the case. Sigrid McCawley, a managing partner at Boies Schiller Flexner, remarked, "It is without question that a significant piece of Epstein and Maxwell’s vast sex-trafficking operation was to provide young women and girls to other wealthy and powerful individuals."
The Department of Justice has previously stated that there was no credible evidence to pursue charges against additional individuals. However, the newly released documents have led to renewed scrutiny and calls for further investigation into Epstein's network and potential accomplices.
