Collecting Cars recently hosted a Coffee Run event at Auckland Showgrounds, drawing a diverse array of vehicles and enthusiasts. The gathering featured an impressive lineup, including Lamborghini Aventador Roadsters, a Ferrari 812 Superfast, and a rare Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Notably, a group of factory-fresh FD Mazda RX-7s and a variety of Porsche 911s, from early Turbo models to new GT3s, were also on display.
Edward Lovett, Founder and Chief Executive of Collecting Cars, commented on the event's success:
"New Zealand and Australia are home to some of the rarest and most exciting collector cars in the world. Car culture down under is strong. You can see this in both countries with the number of cherished classic and collector cars that regularly get out of their garages and on the road."
The event underscored the strength of New Zealand's car culture, with a turnout that, while not matching the previous year's numbers, still showcased a wide range of vehicles and engaged a passionate community of car enthusiasts.
