Three films supported by BBC Film have collectively received 12 nominations for the 2026 BAFTA Film Awards, scheduled for Sunday, 22 February at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

"Sentimental Value" leads with six nominations, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Leading Actress for Renate Reinsve. The film also earned nods for Best Supporting Actress (Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas), Best Supporting Actor (Stellan Skarsgård), and Best Film Not in the English Language. This follows its Grand Prix win at Cannes 2025 and nine Academy Award nominations.

"Pillion," directed by Harry Lighton, secured three nominations: Outstanding British Film, Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer, and Best Adapted Screenplay. Lighton is recognized in both the debut and screenplay categories.

Akinola Davies Jr.'s "My Father's Shadow" received a nomination for Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director, or Producer, acknowledging Wale Davies for his debut screenplay and Akinola Davies Jr. for his directorial debut.
