McDonald's has reintroduced its popular 'Changeables' Happy Meal toys from the late 1980s, featuring 16 transforming characters available for a limited time starting January 27, 2026.
McDonald's has reintroduced its popular 'Changeables' Happy Meal toys from the late 1980s, featuring 16 transforming characters available for a limited time starting January 27, 2026.
The 'Changeables' series, originally launched between 1987 and 1990, includes toys that transform from McDonald's menu items into robots or dinosaurs. The new lineup features characters such as Cap Cap, Teef Rex, Fergon, FR-13S, Galla, Vash, and Drinkobius-999. Each toy comes with a trading card detailing a fun fact and catchphrase. For example, Galla, resembling a bag of apple slices, has the catchphrase, "Galla load of these apples!"
Guillaume Huin, McDonald's Senior Marketing Director, stated that 'Changeables' were "by far – the most requested Happy Meal program on X, across social media platforms and through customer service."
The 'Changeables' Happy Meal is available at participating McDonald's locations nationwide while supplies last.
