Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have officially ended their 19-year marriage, finalizing their divorce with agreed terms on asset division and child custody.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have officially ended their 19-year marriage. A judge in Nashville, Tennessee, finalized their divorce on Tuesday, confirming that all settlements regarding asset division and child custody were satisfactory.
Kidman filed for divorce in September, citing "irreconcilable differences." The couple had pre-arranged the terms of their separation, including a parenting plan for their two teenage daughters. According to the agreement, Kidman will serve as the primary residential parent, with the children spending 306 days per year with her and 59 days with Urban. Both parents have waived rights to spousal and child support, indicating a prenuptial agreement may have been in place.
Kidman and Urban, both 58, married in 2006 after meeting in Los Angeles the previous year. Their marriage was the first for Urban and the second for Kidman, who was previously married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001.
