Apple's iPhone 18 Pro to Feature Smaller Dynamic Island and Redesigned Back Panel

Apple's forthcoming iPhone 18 Pro is anticipated to incorporate two significant design modifications: a reduced Dynamic Island and a reimagined back panel.

Initially, reports suggested the elimination of the Dynamic Island in favor of a hole-punch design. However, recent insights from sources like Instant Digital and analyst Jeff Pu indicate that the feature will be retained in a smaller form.

The device's rear is also set for a refresh. Leakers Digital Chat Station and Instant Digital have indicated that Apple is implementing a new process for the back glass cutout to make it blend more seamlessly with the aluminum frame.
