Savannah Chrisley displays $1.5 million engagement ring from husband Jason Galanis

Summary

Reality-TV star Savannah Chrisley posted a video of her $1.5 million diamond ring and addressed criticism after revealing her secret marriage to convicted fraudster Jason Galanis.

Savannah Chrisley, 29, posted an Instagram video on Saturday showing an oval-cut diamond ring supplied by Nicole Genovese of Genovese Jewelers. The jeweler estimated the piece could be worth up to $1.5 million, with a center stone of 15-18 carats and two-carat side stones. In the caption, Chrisley quoted her husband, Jason Galanis, 56, saying, "You’re not too expensive, you’re my best investment."

Chrisley confirmed that she and Galanis, who began dating in July 2025, were married in a private ceremony in the Cayman Islands a year later and that she is pregnant with their first child. The couple’s relationship was first disclosed in late October, and Galanis’s identity was later reported by Us Weekly.

Galanis has a criminal record that includes convictions for multiple financial fraud schemes, notably a $60 million scam targeting the Oglala Sioux tribe in South Dakota. He served several years in federal prison before receiving a commutation from President Donald Trump in March 2025. Chrisley’s parents, Todd and Julie, were also pardoned by Trump in May 2025 after convictions for bank-fraud and tax-evasion conspiracies.

Following public criticism, Chrisley wrote on Instagram that people are quick to judge and condemned, urging patience and grace. She expressed gratitude for her faith and said she believes love will prevail.
