Reality star Jen Affleck shares past video of husband criticizing her postpartum body amid divorce

Summary

Jen Affleck posted a 2022 TikTok clip showing her estranged husband Zac making disparaging comments about her postpartum body, while Zac later issued an apology and acknowledged mistakes in their marriage.

Zac Affleck posted a TikTok on Thursday saying he had learned of Jen Affleck’s divorce filing through media reports and affirmed he would remain her “biggest fan.” The following day, Jen, who appears on the reality series Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, uploaded a 2022 video in which Zac told her, “Your boobs are literally like … your tits are sagging all over. You don’t want to post that, baby.”

"He was never my biggest supporter," Jen wrote in the post’s caption.

A viewer responded to Zac’s video, stating that such comments would be unforgivable. Zac replied that the remarks were “obviously horrible and should have never been said,” expressing shock at his own words and saying he had “said a lot of horrible and hurtful things, but I have tried my best to learn and grow.”

Jen also shared another clip from their marriage in which she asked Zac to help with household chores, saying, “I’ve been doing all your laundry for the past… forever. If I got a little bit more help from you it would be nice.” Zac walked away angrily in the footage.

In his TikTok, Zac acknowledged “plenty of mistakes” in the marriage, added that he did not want anyone speaking badly about Jen, and said the couple had married young and “felt like we had something pretty special.”

Page Six reported that Jen filed for divorce on Tuesday in Utah County District Court, along with a parenting plan. The couple shares three children—Nora, 4; Lucas, 3; and Penelope, 1—and Jen is pregnant with their fourth child. Both parents marked their eldest child’s birthday separately on Wednesday.
