Apple rolls out iOS 27.3 beta with expanded Siri actions and revamped Health app

Resumen

Apple's iOS 27.3 beta introduces new Siri AI capabilities, a redesigned Health app, updated Safari features, and enhancements to Fitness+ and Apple Watch functionality.

Apple released the first beta of iOS 27.3, adding a range of new features across its ecosystem. Siri AI now supports additional actions such as unsubscribing from mailing lists, organizing files, managing Safari tabs, adding saved locations in Weather and toggling severe-weather alerts. A developer preview also allows third-party apps to provide custom actions and skills, with App Store submissions slated to open in the spring.

Safari receives vertical tabs and an Adaptive Dark Mode that automatically applies a dark appearance to sites lacking one. The iPhone Duo’s interface is updated with horizontal Reachability and a revised keyboard to improve one-handed use of the wider display.

Fitness+ gains a Gym Strength program that creates four-week personalized plans based on equipment and workout preferences, supplemented by short instructional videos. The Health app is redesigned with new Insights and Longevity sections that turn health measurements into longer-term guidance.

Apple Watch introduces Live Rewind, which transcribes the previous 15 seconds of speech, and Siri Recap, which generates detailed conversation summaries and can be scheduled by time or location. Additional updates include iPhone Duo-style StandBy displays, enhanced Apple Music transitions and concert recommendations, and Selfie Sing karaoke videos.

The MacRumors Show discussed these changes in its latest episode, which is available on YouTube, podcast platforms and via RSS feed.
