Dean Norris' Swing Inn Cafe Files Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Amid Declining Revenue

Résumé

Actor Dean Norris and his estranged wife Bridget Norris' restaurant, Swing Inn Cafe, entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy after reporting over $1.8 million in liabilities despite multi-million dollar revenues.

Swing Inn Cafe, a Temecula, California eatery purchased by actor Dean Norris and his estranged wife Bridget Norris in 2022, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month. Court documents show the restaurant held about $147,000 in assets while liabilities exceeded $1.8 million. The filings list debts of roughly $293,000 to food supplier Sysco, about $16,000 to a local bakery, and other unpaid obligations.

According to the filing, the cafe generated approximately $6.8 million in gross revenue in 2024, $5.9 million in 2025, and $4.1 million so far in 2026, with revenue declining after social-media attention waned after 2025. Bridget Norris requested court authorization to use company funds for payroll, warning that failure to pay employees could force staff to quit and further reduce revenues.

The bankruptcy case remains ongoing. In a separate filing, Bridget Norris, who filed for divorce in 2025 after more than 23 years of marriage and five children, sought spousal support.
