Reality star Jen Affleck files for divorce while pregnant with fourth child
Jen Affleck, known from "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," filed for divorce from husband Zac Affleck after seven years of marriage, as she expects her fourth child.
Jen Affleck, a 27-year-old participant in the reality series "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives," filed for divorce on Tuesday, Nov. 3, in the Fourth Judicial District Court in Provo, Utah. The filing, obtained by People, Entertainment Weekly and E! News, comes as she is pregnant with her and husband Zac Affleck's fourth child.
The couple met in 2018, married in 2019, and have three children—Nora, Luca and Penelope. Their relationship has been a recurring focus on the series, which follows Mormon mom influencers. After the first season aired, the pair briefly separated, a development that was featured in the second season. During that separation, Affleck learned she was pregnant with their third child, after which the couple reconciled and continued appearing together through subsequent seasons.
Affleck is slated to appear in a new spin-off, "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County," premiering on Nov. 12, which will document the couple's move to Southern California as they prepare for the arrival of their fourth child.
In an August interview with People, Affleck said the couple had been working through challenges, adding, "> It’s been a lot the past couple of months, I’ll be honest," and "> I wouldn’t have survived the first trimester without him."
Global News has sought comment from Affleck’s representatives but has not received a response.
