Singapore police arrest woman linked to Prince Holding Group scam syndicate

Summary

Authorities detained 44-year-old Karen Chen Xiuling at Changi Airport on charges of instigating falsified documents and attempting to defraud a government agency, part of a wider crackdown on the Prince Holding Group.

Singapore police said they arrested Karen Chen Xiuling, 44, at Changi Airport on Thursday under a warrant tied to investigations of the transnational scam syndicate Prince Holding Group. Chen, identified as a director of several Singapore-registered firms believed to be owned by Prince Holding Group founder Chen Zhi, is accused of orchestrating the falsification of a lease agreement submitted to JTC Corporation in September 2022.

"She is believed to have instigated an officer of Capital Zone Warehousing to falsify the agreement with intent to defraud," the police statement said.

The authorities indicated that Chen will appear in court on Friday facing one count of instigating another person to falsify accounts and a separate charge of attempting to cheat. Since June 2026, police have imposed prohibition orders on 14 properties and seized bank and securities accounts linked to the group, with assets seized or frozen valued at over S$700 million, including about S$100 million from recent actions.
