Resumen

Police arrested two suspects in connection with a stabbing that left five teenage boys injured, one in critical condition, at a party in Chandler's Ford, Hampshire.

Hampshire Constabulary arrested two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, on suspicion of attempted murder after five boys were stabbed at a Halloween party in Chandler's Ford on Saturday night. The victims, three aged 16 and two aged 17, were taken to hospital; two remain in serious condition, with one 17-year-old in a life-threatening state, while the others have been discharged.

Police said the attackers entered the party by climbing over a garden fence and carried out the assaults both inside and outside the property. The investigation continues.

"Whilst the two arrests are a significant development in our investigation, which has moved at pace, we still urge our communities to contact us with any information, no matter how small it may seem," DCI Elizabeth Pirie, the senior investigating officer, said.

"If you were at the party and have not spoken with officers yet, or you have any CCTV, mobile phone, dash-cam or doorbell camera footage, then please get in touch," she added.

Liberal Democrat MP for Eastleigh, Liz Jarvis, expressed sympathy for the victims and praised emergency services for their response, urging the public not to spread unverified information.

"My thoughts are with the victims and their families and the local community at this time and my thanks go to the emergency services for their swift response," Jarvis said.
